About the role
- Ensure compliance with applicable US or Canadian employment laws and internal HR policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation
- Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR operations processes
- Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance readiness at all times
- Collaborate closely with payroll and finance teams for timely and accurate processing
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in HR and Payroll Compliance within US or Canada
- Strong understanding of: US labor laws and payroll regulations or Canadian employment standards and payroll compliance
- Demonstrated experience in: Employee records management Benefits administration Claims tracking and documentation Payroll compliance processes
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred
- Professional HR certifications such as SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent
