About the role
- Partners with PO/QA Lead/Sr QA engineer to understand the requirements and perform quality testing, create test documentation and/or contribute to overall system output.
- Performs functional and regression testing on Test and Staging environments
- Write test cases and scenarios as defined in the Test Plan based on product and technical specs
- Creates manual and automated test reports to track and demonstrate test output
- Writes automated test scripts as defined in QA roadmap
- Assess features and deliverables and provide estimates for delivery
- Provides technical support for production issues
- Helps release, test and support during production roll out
Requirements
- 5+ years practice in Software Testing
- 4+ years experience in Manual Testing (Web, Mobile, API)
- 2+ years experience in Automation Testing (Web, Mobile, API)
- Knows the basics of working with databases (MySQL/ PostgreSQL/ MongoDB)
- Knowledge in Performance Testing is a plus.
- Knowledge in Security Testing is a plus.
- Web-based automation tools like Selenium/Robot Framework
- API testing tools like Postman, Newman
- Experienced in CI/CD tool is a plus
