About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the agency’s Inclusion & Belonging strategy
  • Act as the primary liaison and support system for all Connection Groups
  • Support the creation, implementation, and tracking of Connection Group annual workplans
  • Collaborate with Connection Group Leads and Internal Communications on an annual communications strategy
  • Partner with Talent Development Advisors to design and deliver leadership development training for Connection Group leads
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation with the Talent Attraction and Acquisition team
  • Facilitate bi-monthly new employee orientation and monthly new employee brown bags
  • Evaluate and improve the onboarding process
  • Support planning, implementation, and communication of annual Engagement and supplemental Pulse Surveys
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor collaboration, and distribution of survey results
  • Coordinate and track post-survey action planning
  • Support in-person and virtual engagement strategies
  • Plan and execute employee events, including Founder’s Day celebrations and in-office connection activities
  • Communicate People & Culture initiatives and progress across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Professional level of specialized knowledge to manage complex tasks, programs or projects
  • Ability to work independently, organize and set priorities, and handle multiple tasks
  • Experience organizing and facilitating staff training
  • Experience with learning management systems, survey tools, collaboration tools, and HRIS systems
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
  • Creative thinker with a passion for culture-building and fostering belonging
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Experience in non-profit industry preferred
  • Experience with virtual and hybrid event planning preferred
