About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the development and execution of the agency’s Inclusion & Belonging strategy
- Act as the primary liaison and support system for all Connection Groups
- Support the creation, implementation, and tracking of Connection Group annual workplans
- Collaborate with Connection Group Leads and Internal Communications on an annual communications strategy
- Partner with Talent Development Advisors to design and deliver leadership development training for Connection Group leads
- Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation with the Talent Attraction and Acquisition team
- Facilitate bi-monthly new employee orientation and monthly new employee brown bags
- Evaluate and improve the onboarding process
- Support planning, implementation, and communication of annual Engagement and supplemental Pulse Surveys
- Coordinate logistics, vendor collaboration, and distribution of survey results
- Coordinate and track post-survey action planning
- Support in-person and virtual engagement strategies
- Plan and execute employee events, including Founder’s Day celebrations and in-office connection activities
- Communicate People & Culture initiatives and progress across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Professional level of specialized knowledge to manage complex tasks, programs or projects
- Ability to work independently, organize and set priorities, and handle multiple tasks
- Experience organizing and facilitating staff training
- Experience with learning management systems, survey tools, collaboration tools, and HRIS systems
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization
- Creative thinker with a passion for culture-building and fostering belonging
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience in non-profit industry preferred
- Experience with virtual and hybrid event planning preferred
