About the role
- Develop and execute channel marketing strategies and business plans
- Work closely with industry partners, buying groups and other trade associations
- Hire, lead and coach high-performing field and channel marketing team members
- Partner closely with sales leadership to monitor and report success across channels
- Understand market dynamics and industry trends to position the Savant brand
- Support sales teams from all channels in development and execution of field activities
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 10+ years of technical sales and B-to-B marketing
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and measure program effectiveness
- Ability to develop and execute short- and long-term strategies
- Strong knowledge of channel sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Experience building strong, collaborative relationships with sales teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills, including programming experience, Keynote proficiency, iPad/iPhone applications, webinar platforms
- Ability to analyze and adapt business priorities
- Self-motivated with an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Ability to work a variable schedule with extensive quarterly/monthly travel
- Experience with ERP and customer relationship management software
