Evaluate and validate contractor system designs against Savant Power specifications, providing technical feedback on plans, schematics, and system layouts to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.
Partner with sales and new customers to translate their existing system experience (or competitive solutions) into Savant Power system designs, providing technical guidance on architecture and deployment options.
Deliver technical training and education at industry events, distributor workshops, and trade shows to educate partners and customers on Savant Power capabilities and deployment best practices.
Champion product improvements by synthesizing customer feedback (both wins and challenges) and delivering insights to Product Management and Engineering to guide future development.
Keep pace with emerging residential battery storage programs and incentives—including Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems, Virtual Power Plants, and rebate/financing opportunities—to identify ways Savant Power can better serve customers and capture new market segments.
Stay informed on building and fire codes, with particular attention to regional variations, to advise the company on compliance requirements and identify code-driven business opportunities.
Provide on-site technical support for key customer deployments and complex installations to ensure successful execution and gather real-world implementation insights.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in the residential solar industry, with a preference for experience with Behind-the-Meter (BTM) and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) assets.
Proven ability to analyze electrical, structural, mechanical, and architectural drawings
Ability to break down complex engineering concepts for working with non-technical stake holders.
Experience managing multiple projects operating concurrently providing concise feedback on project status to identify critical conditions.

Engineering degree not required. Industry experience is more important than education.
Must be able to read plans.
