About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and develop conventional engineering and scientific solutions for technical problems or project objectives using SRMC engineering methodologies and requirements.
- Assume technical responsibility for one or more phases of a program and/or ownership for unit operations within processing facilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide innovative improvements to existing processes.
- Provide project engineering and facility engineering support.
- Develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Control Logic Diagrams, Instrument Loop Drawings, Segment Drawings, Instrument Location and Installation Drawings, and technical calculations.
- Select and size instruments and control valves.
- Develop procurement requirements, specifications and data sheets.
- Perform vendor drawing reviews, design reviews, and commercial grade dedication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university with professional engineering experience
- Knowledge of advanced engineering principles and practices to develop appropriate outputs.
- Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards.
- Experience with DCS and PLC interfaces.
- Proficiency with 2D MicroStation v8 CADD.
- Ability to perform walkdowns.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a changing environment with multiple demands and priorities.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, both verbally and in writing.
