About the role
- Coordinate and administer facility-specific activities to ensure correct functioning of facilities, offices and business support services
- Identify, enhance and follow processes and procedures to maximize business efficiencies
- Act as point of contact to initiate and implement infrastructure repair and upgrades (HVAC, lighting, roofing, telecommunications), and manage buildings, roads and grounds within assigned facility(s)
- Serve as Program Administrator and point of contact for Physical Security Lock and Key Program including doorknob/lock repair, replacement, and control
- Act as point of contact for work performed through the UPC, including infrastructure upgrades, roofing repairs, and paving
- Serve as point of contact and STR liaison for subcontracted services (cleaning, floor care, port-a-let servicing, water bottle racks)
- Act as point of contact for replacement of non-working appliances in buildings
- Act as point of contact for personnel housing, furniture/equipment moves, and workspace improvements
- Initiate and implement pesticide services for buildings and herbicide services for grounds
- Administrator and contributor for ad-hoc projects and programs and other duties as assigned
- Based in Aiken, SC on the Savannah River Site reporting to facility/operations leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and experience relevant to the job’s function; or High School Diploma or GED and a combination of secondary education and/or experience relevant to the job’s function
- Comprehensive understanding of the assigned facility processes and infrastructure (Preferred)
