About the role
- Lead and manage IT/OT projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Partner with teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Track project progress, address risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog
- Oversee release planning and ensure timely, high-quality software delivery
- Reviews and modifies documents necessary to expedite work prior to submitting for approval including planning documents, design packages, new IT/OT program guides, and associated training
- Remove roadblocks to support team productivity and resolve conflicts
- Assists in integrating IT/OT innovation initiatives, project schedule activities into the facility scheduling programs (i.e. POW, POD, IPT, and long-range planning)
- Stay informed on trends in Agile and software development practices
- Drive agile practices, facilitate stand-ups, spring planning, and retrospectives
- Effectively bridge communication between technical and non-technical groups
- Promote team collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Associate's degree, or high school diploma/GED with practical experience in programs, projects, or other engineering or technical area
- Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience managing IT/OT products for large and complex projects
- Proven success in both traditional project methods (Waterfall) and modern approaches (Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps)
- Hands-on experience with cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) involving software, hardware, or sensors
- Ability to understand and interpret various program and project phases and attributes
- Conceptual understanding of facility processes, systems and equipment
- In-depth knowledge of project and program scheduling and cost tracking
- Knowledge of general or specific safety, environmental, regulatory, safeguards, security, emergency preparedness programs, policies, practices and guidelines
- Knowledge of schedules integration and resource planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
