About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Site Construction Team, Home Office Engineering team, Site Engineering Team, and Field Personnel
  • Provide weekly construction progress measurements utilizing cloud-based progress management software
  • Maintain tracking system reflecting current project budgets and accommodate for scope changes
  • Maintain project drawing set showing up-to-date revisions and progress mark-ups
  • Assist project management staff with work package development as needed
  • Interface with project control staff for updating client and internal project reports, and schedule progress
  • Ensure IFC Quantities are developed and reported to Project Controls
  • Develop extensive knowledge of project scope, assist in maintaining control of budget and any deviations
  • Work with estimating team to develop labor estimates and load into project tracking system
  • Provide periodic audits of site construction progress

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Excel
  • Exposure to or basic understanding of multi-discipline construction concepts preferred
  • Familiarity with construction progress measurement and reporting methods is a plus
  • Interest in learning about site work, concrete installation techniques, structural steel installation, piping systems, electrical systems, and process control systems
  • Understanding of construction industry practices, processes, and standards or willingness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Professional, ethical, and motivated to grow within the company
