About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for Inspections and inspection staff in the Pipeline sector
- Effectively interprets multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements
- Provides technical guidance for inspection, testing, and quality service activities
- Coordinates Third Party Testing agencies and welder qualifications
- Maintains documentation and tracks welding progress using MaxTrax program
- Ensures compliance with project-specific quality requirements for civil, concrete, soil, environmental, safety, NDE, hydrostatic testing, insurance and client quality requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (Pipeline)
- Minimum of five (5) years previous experience in Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas industry
- Preferred CWI
- Extensive knowledge of quality control requirements in the energy sector
- Ability to schedule multiple activities
- Knowledge and use of computers and software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills at a high level
- Ability to manage and participate in project teams
- Initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- High level of commitment to project industrial safety
- Extensive knowledge of ASME / ACI / D1.1 Codes.
