About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for Inspections and inspection staff in the Pipeline sector
Effectively interprets multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements
Provides technical guidance for inspection, testing, and quality service activities
Coordinates Third Party Testing agencies and welder qualifications
Maintains documentation and tracks welding progress using MaxTrax program
Ensures compliance with project-specific quality requirements for civil, concrete, soil, environmental, safety, NDE, hydrostatic testing, insurance and client quality requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experienced in Quality Assurance / Quality Control (Pipeline)
Minimum of five (5) years previous experience in Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas industry
Preferred CWI
Extensive knowledge of quality control requirements in the energy sector
Ability to schedule multiple activities
Knowledge and use of computers and software packages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills at a high level
Ability to manage and participate in project teams
Initiative and creative problem-solving skills
High level of commitment to project industrial safety
Extensive knowledge of ASME / ACI / D1.1 Codes.
