About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects
- Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients
- Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects
- Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer
- Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration
- Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system
- Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals
- Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities
- Self-motivated with ability to work with others
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required
- 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred
- Must have Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience
- Delta V Programming experience is a plus
- Industrial networking experience is a plus
- Self-learner and willing to go extra mile to accomplish tasks
- EIT licensure required or the ability to get licensed after joining the company
- Trouble shooting skills required
- Commissioning and start-up experience required
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Record of success working in a team culture
- Professional and ethical
- Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
