About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects
  • Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients
  • Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects
  • Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer
  • Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration
  • Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system
  • Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals
  • Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with others

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required
  • 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred
  • Must have Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience
  • Delta V Programming experience is a plus
  • Industrial networking experience is a plus
  • Self-learner and willing to go extra mile to accomplish tasks
  • EIT licensure required or the ability to get licensed after joining the company
  • Trouble shooting skills required
  • Commissioning and start-up experience required
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Record of success working in a team culture
  • Professional and ethical
  • Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.
