About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead civil engineer on one or more projects
Apply engineering techniques and analysis for utilities, infrastructure, and/or substation design
Complete grading and drainage design of green field facilities from a topographical survey
Act as a discipline civil engineer for selected projects
Interact with engineering disciplines, project managers, and clients
Provide input into project schedules and manage man hour and equipment estimates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and Licensed Professional Engineer in State of Texas
At least 10 years’ experience in utilities and infrastructure / industrial setting
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of substation design, grading and drainage design
Proficient in RISA 3D, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Civil 3D
Experienced in leading engineering team and working with Civil Design team
