Site Quality Manager
SaulsburySite Quality Manager overseeing inspection staff and ensuring quality compliance in the heavy industrial oil and gas sector. Responsible for inspections, providing technical guidance, and coordinating quality-related activities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for Inspections and inspection staff
- Interpret multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements
- Provide technical guidance for inspection, testing and quality service activities
- Coordinate or designate Third Party Testing agencies
- Review and/or complete all necessary quality related reports and documentation
- Track welding progress using MaxTrax program
Requirements
What you’ll need- CWI Certification required
- Experienced in Quality Assurance / Quality Control with minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a similar role in the Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas industry
- Extensive knowledge of quality control requirements in the energy sector
- Ability to schedule multiple activities
- Knowledge and use of computers and software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills at a high level
- Ability to manage and participate in project teams
- Initiative and creative problem-solving skills
- High level of commitment to project industrial safety
- Ability to review and implement practices to assure full compliance with client specifications
- Extensive knowledge of ASME / ACI / D1.1 Codes
- Physically mobile and reasonable level of fitness
