Understanding of working in the Altnet industry
Good understanding of L2/L3 networking, PON Networks and experience working with Broadband Networks in either FWA or FTTP
Experience with Network Monitoring platforms, such as LibreNMS, PRTG, Nagios, etc.
Working experience of VLAN’s, PPPoE, Tunnelling
Knowledge of routing protocols, and practical application
Knowledge of wireless bands and channels including licensed links.
Knowledge of radio management platform like UISP, UNMS, cnMaestro
Hands-on experience with monitoring, Network diagnostic and Network analytics tools.
Proven hands-on Network Engineering experience
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
FWA multivendor knowledge like Ubiquiti, Mikrotik, Zyxel, Radwin, Siklu, Cambium
Hands on experience of working with Microsoft DNS, VLAN’s, PPPoE, DHCP Static routing, NAT/PAT, Tunnelling
