About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary legal architect for new products and features
Embed in the Product Team and proactively support the design phase to help Product Managers build innovative services
Analyze complex financial and consumer protection regulations across European jurisdictions
Partner closely with Product, Tech, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance teams to balance business objectives with smart risk management
Provide advice on financial, consumer protection laws and legal issues related to the Satispay ecosystem

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience as Product Counsel advising on technology products, commercial, and consumer law issues
Deep familiarity with the fintech ecosystem (e.g., APIs, payment schemes, card networks, wallet architectures, open banking) and the regulatory complexities of scaling digital financial products across Europe
A genuine passion for UX/UI, technology, and understanding how a product works under the hood. You enjoy bridging the gap between engineering logic and legal frameworks
Ability to make decisions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. You provide risk-adjusted recommendations, not just a list of legal restrictions
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill dense legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for product managers, engineers, and executives
Full professional fluency in English. Experience working in international environments or advising on cross-border European rollouts is a major asset.
