About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary legal architect for new products and features.
- Analyze complex financial and consumer protection regulations across European jurisdictions, translating legal requirements in product and design guidance.
- Partner closely with Product, Tech, Strategy, Marketing, Operations and Compliance teams to balance business objectives with smart risk management.
- Provide advice on financial, consumer protection laws and legal issues related to the B2C and B2B expansion of the Satispay ecosystem.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience as Product Counsel advising on technology products, commercial, and consumer law issues.
- Significant in-house experience within a fast-growing Tech or Fintech company is highly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with the fintech ecosystem (e.g., APIs, payment schemes, card networks, wallet architectures, open banking) and the regulatory complexities of scaling digital financial products across Europe.
- A genuine passion for UX/UI, technology, and understanding how a product works under the hood.
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill dense legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for product managers, engineers, and executives.
- Full professional fluency in English. Experience working in international environments or advising on cross-border European rollouts is a major asset.
