About the role
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and the general ledger
- Manage payroll processing and financial data management
- Manage capital expenditures and asset management
- Verify the completeness and integrity of bookkeeping
- Oversee closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Maintain adherence to tax laws and company policies
- Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Continuously work on improving financial processes and systems
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in finance or corporate services
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and/or IFRS)
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments
- Excellent organisational skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel)
- Proven experience working with ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Fluency in both Italian and English
