About the role

  • Define the long-term technical vision for critical domains
  • Architect complex subsystems that serve as the foundation for the entire company
  • Design and scale high-throughput engines responsible for transaction ledger and payment orchestration
  • Provide base infrastructure for Identity and Access Management
  • Develop and optimize services for credit risk and fraud detection
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and technical leads to define requirements
  • Mentor the next generation of engineers and foster a culture of high-quality engineering

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of related experience in back-end software engineering
  • Proven track record of architecting and maintaining microservices in a high-paced environment
  • Deep experience working with Java
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus)
  • Ability to communicate in a structured and convincing manner
  • Proven ability to generate intellectual property and thought leadership
  • Passionate about FinTech or startup environments
  • Fluent in English
