About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting with complex U.S. GAAP matters
- Draft technical accounting memos and position papers for non-routine transactions
- Review customer contracts for ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Assist Manager of SEC Reporting on periodic SEC filings
- Maintain and document internal controls over financial reporting
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams around technical accounting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience at a Big 4 or large regional firm
- Hands-on experience applying ASC 606
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working in an ERP environment
- Familiarity with SEC reporting concepts and SOX internal controls
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
