About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and optimize system-level budgets including Mass, Power, Propulsion, and Image Quality
- Co-define and design the systems architecture for future satellite constellations
- Oversee system-level integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) activities
- Interpret mission specific and spacecraft system level requirements
- Identify technical gaps and manage anomaly resolution
- Serve as the primary technical authority for R&D teams, translating high-level operational requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace systems engineering
- Demonstrated ability to navigate seamlessly between hardware block diagrams and complex software/firmware architectures
- Deep expertise in trade-off analysis and systems engineering methodologies (e.g., V-model or MBSE)
- BSc or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Software Engineering
- Ability to analyze problems and search for solutions, exploring multiple alternatives
- Excellent people, time, and risk management skills
