About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage end-to-end accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support
Perform daily transaction postings and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Support the month-end closing process, including journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
Execute manual postings, reconciliations, and reporting within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Assist in the preparation of BAS and GST workings, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations
Work closely with internal teams (sales, operations) to track orders, collections, and financial activity

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll)
Hands-on experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (highly preferred)
Strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, MYOB, SAP, etc.)
Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals and financial processes
Exposure to Australian taxation (BAS, GST) or strong willingness to learn
