About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, and offer management
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth experience at every stage
- Administer employee benefits, leave management, and performance review cycles
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases in compliance with data protection requirements
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with local and international employment law
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to employees and managers on HR matters
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion
- Deliver training sessions on HR policies, compliance, and workplace topics
- Drive and support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in a generalist HR role
- Solid understanding of Maltese employment law (experience with multi-jurisdiction HR is a plus)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - you will be dealing with people at all levels
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage
