About the role
- Design and build new network architectures on premise and in public clouds.
- Automate deployment and support of network components.
- Work with all network technology including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, load balancers, Azure/AWS/GCP.
- Mentor and train engineers on the network delivery and operations teams.
- Document network environments for network engineers, other IT staff and business consumers.
- Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering/architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related fields.
- Expert level knowledge of several network technologies: routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, SSL and IPSEC VPN.
- Experience with Arista based BGP EVPN spine/leaf architectures.
- Experience with networking in hybrid and public cloud environments, including cloud-native equivalents for routers, firewalls and load-balancers.
- Experience with automation using Terraform, Ansible and/or Python to deploy and manage on-premises and cloud networks.
- Experience with github or gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
