About the role
- Lead a technically diverse team in complex customer environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with teams across SAS to improve our products based on customer experiences.
- Define, monitor, and analyze KPIs related to the SAS Cloud Operational service.
- Ensure compliance with Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) by monitoring and managing service delivery against agreed-upon performance targets, such as incident resolution times and service request fulfillment.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, automate repetitive tasks, and improve efficiency across all aspects of cloud hosting operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect our clients' data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Ensure your department follows documented Change Management policy.
- Set performance goals/standards/objectives for the team.
- Perform all management responsibilities for the team including coaching and development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in at least one major CSP (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.), providing application support, and/or technical consulting.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with 2 years in a formal management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience in infrastructure, network, or storage management.
