About the role
- Designing individual components and assemblies, primarily made of plastic
- Using Onshape and Creo Parametric CAD software
- Ensuring close cooperation with other key areas of the company
- Creating, checking and maintaining necessary design documentation
- Participating in regular design review meetings
- Supporting development departments from initial prototype trials to introduction of industrialized solutions into series production
Requirements
- University degree in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering or production engineering
- Several years of professional experience as a design engineer
- Comprehensive knowledge of a recognized CAD design package
- Good experience with Onshape and/or Creo Parametric design software
- Extensive experience in the design of plastic parts
- Good experience in Tolerance Stack up and Tolerance specifications (ISO 20457)
- Basic knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM), Mold Flow Analysis (MFA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Six Sigma
- Strong communication skills in French and English
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%)
