About the role
- Operational procurement of materials and services
- Monitoring delivery dates and ensuring quality
- Responsibility for trading goods on a global level
- Maintaining continuous positive relationships with suppliers
- Structuring the existing supplier base and identifying new sources of supply
- Monitoring supplier performance based on defined KPIs
- Preparing and acting based on market trends
- Close coordination with product development for required products and services
- Conducting price and contract negotiations
- Administration of framework agreements
- Identifying and implementing risk management measures
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial/business training or equivalent
- Relevant professional experience in procurement, a sales function, or administrative processing, ideally in a global environment
- Proven knowledge in procurement
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with SAP
- Strong, effective negotiation skills
- Good sense for prioritization with a structured way of working
- Ability to collaborate constructively within a team
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
