About the role
- Create digital and print documentation formats, including user manuals, online help, release notes, and interface documents
- Work closely with various stakeholders to develop technical documentation as part of the product
- Develop, collect, and publish technical documents and information
- Co-responsible for standardizing company documentation
- Improve and ensure compliance with document control processes and all related approval and documentation deadlines
- Monitor user feedback and implement improvements
- Initiate proactive improvements to documentation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with changing deadlines
Requirements
- Degree in Translation Studies or Technical Writing, or a technical degree with certification as a Technical Writer
- Proven experience in a similar role and industry
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts, structure them didactically, and communicate them clearly
- Excellent writing skills
- Good image editing skills (advantageous)
- Experience with InDesign and Schema ST4 (advantageous)
- Fluent in English and German
