About the role
- Allocate and manage the field application specialist resources in conjunction with regional sales managers
- Develop and implement customer strategies and tactics in conjunction with sales management
- Align with regional product marketing team to improve the technical capability of each individual field application specialist
- Promote strategic solution offerings in high level sales scenarios
- Support process/solution based technical request from key or strategic accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationship with key product users and opinion leaders at key/strategic accounts
- Lead and develop a team of Field Application Specialists through an effective training program
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or life sciences related major, PHD preferred
- Min. 5 years working experience in biopharma, including min. 3 years technical support related experience, and min. 2 leadership experience
- Sufficient knowledge of Biopharma related process, product, and technology as well as market knowledge (Customers, Competitors & Regulations)
- Solid project Management and problem-solving related skills
- Ability to effectively present technical information
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
