About the role
- Responsible for the development and design of mechanical components and complete systems for single-use bioreactors
- Participate in interdisciplinary bioreactor development projects and in the development and optimization of prototypes
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality and functionality
- Maintain excellent documentation of design results in ECTR
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to deliver an integrated overall system
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the mechanical design of mechatronic systems
- Experience in mechanical prototyping and in collaboration with suppliers as well as internal production
- Strong communication skills and a high degree of independence
- Fluent German and English skills
- Solid experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or Onshape
- Knowledge of standards and regulations (e.g., DIN EN 61010) is desirable
