Kit Assembly Supervisor – Day Shift

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing daily operations in the Kit Assembly / Clean Room
- Establish work procedures and meet daily and weekly production goals
- Maintain 5S standards to promote workplace organization and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with the Planning department to prioritize production orders and ensure timely completion of work
- Track and maintain production metrics: output, downtime and labor hours
- Monitor production efficiency, ensuring products meet quality standards
- Track, analyze, and communicate KPIs to drive operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, quality, GMP to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Directly supervise, coach, and mentor employees in the Kit Assembly area, fostering a high-performing team
- Address employee relations, attendance, performance, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work Day shift (8:00AM - 5:00 PM), Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays or additional hours to meet business needs
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience plus three years in a supervisory role
- Ability to interpret, and prepare production reports, technical documents, work instructions, and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively communicate, written, and oral, and present information
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret production data, perform basic calculations, and make sound decisions in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing production priorities
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, and use hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Possess close vision and depth perception to perform inspection
- Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and a moderate noise level
