About the role

  • Lead development of training programs for Saronic's DoD maritime autonomy products
  • Identify, assess, plan, develop, create, coordinate, implement, and evaluate training programs
  • Provide direction for internal training needs
  • Create and implement comprehensive customer training programs
  • Conduct customer needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
  • Ensure training programs meet certification, audit, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with external training providers, internal stakeholders, instructional designers, and media producers
  • Work across departments to align training strategy with organizational needs
  • Assess user needs and align course content and design accordingly
  • Refine data capture and analysis to improve training
  • Research, advocate for, and implement training methodologies including AR/VR formats
  • Use the learning management system to deliver, track, and ensure training completion
  • Evaluate efficacy of digital, live, and hybrid training

Requirements

  • Access to export-controlled information or items requiring “U.S. Person” status (U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, certain asylees/refugees)
  • Expertise in adult learning theory and instructional design principles
  • Experience delivering programs online and in person
  • Master’s Degree in instructional design, education, or a related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, resources, and budgets
  • Proficient in assessing and analyzing performance to improve training
  • Experience producing digital learning experiences using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
  • Advanced knowledge of data evaluation and assessments
  • Experience in training in corporate, DoD, or related manufacturing environments
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS); Cornerstone preferred
