About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review Critical Digital Asset (CDA) determinations and assessments for technical accuracy
- Address related plant corrective actions and notifications
- Confirm configurations of site-installed devices using network diagrams and system documentation
- Support software and hardware installation on plant digital systems
- Change device settings to implement cyber security controls
- Provide technical support requested by Digital Engineering and Cyber Security supervisors
- Perform other cyber security-related tasks
- Lead others in applying data, automation, and AI tools to improve engineering workflows and deliver cost-effective designs
- Oversee automation and process-improvement work, including calculations, technical-document summaries, and design documentation, with appropriate review of outputs
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems
- General understanding of cyber security topics and I&C systems
- Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control systems preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in nuclear power cyber security
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PE license preferred, but not required
- Basic understanding of cyber security and cyber security operation centers
- Knowledge of networks
- Ability to respond and update requests in a timely manner
- Work experience designing or implementing networks helpful
- Willingness or ability to lead others using modern tools such as automation and AI
- Python, MATLAB, or advanced Excel automation oversight valued but not required
- Additional learning in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields valued
- No U.S. work authorization sponsorship
