About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review Critical Digital Asset (CDA) determinations and assessments for technical accuracy
Address related plant corrective actions and notifications
Confirm configurations of site-installed devices using network diagrams and system documentation
Support software and hardware installation on plant digital systems
Change device settings to implement cyber security controls
Provide technical support requested by Digital Engineering and Cyber Security supervisors
Perform other cyber security-related tasks
Lead others in applying data, automation, and AI tools to improve engineering workflows and deliver cost-effective designs
Oversee automation and process-improvement work, including calculations, technical-document summaries, and design documentation, with appropriate review of outputs

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in design engineering for process control systems
General understanding of cyber security topics and I&C systems
Experience in design engineering for nuclear power plant control systems preferred
Demonstrated expertise in nuclear power cyber security
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PE license preferred, but not required
Basic understanding of cyber security and cyber security operation centers
Knowledge of networks
Ability to respond and update requests in a timely manner
Work experience designing or implementing networks helpful
Willingness or ability to lead others using modern tools such as automation and AI
Python, MATLAB, or advanced Excel automation oversight valued but not required
Additional learning in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or related fields valued
