About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide oversight on piping, mechanical equipment, including turbines, boilers, pumps, and other power plant components
  • Drive troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Monitor equipment performance and efficiency
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, equipment condition, and performance metrics
  • Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to plant operators, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure the installed progress and work product are in line with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements
  • Track work progress and highlight key activity development in daily reports
  • Support our partners and project stakeholders by communicating early and often

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical operations and maintenance within the power generation industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in power plant piping and equipment systems, including turbines, boilers, pumps, and auxiliary systems
  • Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to power plant operations, maintenance, and safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the United States as required
