About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Overseeing greenfield, brownfield, routine, and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems
- Drive troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to identify and resolve complex electrical issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute electrical maintenance activities
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures
- Monitor equipment performance and efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive records of electrical maintenance activities
- Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to plant operators
- Ensure the installed progress and work product are in line with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements
- Track work progress and highlight key activity development in daily reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical installations, operations, and maintenance within the power generation industry
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and expertise in power plant electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, generators, and control systems
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for electrical systems
- Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to power plant electrical operations, maintenance, and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the United States
