About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as an internal training consultant, collaborating with upper management, division managers, subject-matter experts, and end users across the organization.
  • Assess and address employee training needs.
  • Apply expertise in how people learn as you design and develop new learning solutions.
  • Apply basic project management skills to lead your assigned projects through the entire ADDIE development cycle.
  • Courses often cover technical engineering concepts and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define learning objectives.
  • Build polished final deliverables that contain clear instructional copy, adhere to brand guidelines, and incorporate basic graphic design/visual communication principles.
  • Communicate project status to relevant stakeholders consistently throughout the project.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional experience as an Instructional Designer, Curriculum Designer, Learning Experience Designer, or similar position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, English, or relevant field.
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development software (Articulate 360 Rise and Storyline).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ability to work with templates and adhere to style guidelines to create polished and consistent final deliverables.
  • Experience working with highly technical, complex content.
  • Experience leveraging AI across the ADDIE cycle.
