About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee assigned projects' field operations/installation side to ensure equipment is installed safely, accurately, completely, and within the estimated timeline.
Provide oversight of a Solar PV Project for specific construction contractor and sub-contractor activities.
Review/Create project-specific site work plans.
Prepare and review various reports, including construction and quality surveillance, source inspections, and certified material tests.
Troubleshoot issues that arise during construction activities and provide resolution.
Conduct quality control visits to project sites.
Communicate with subcontractors regarding installation information and timeline during installation.
Ensure that the client's monitoring portal is created and functioning correctly.
Lead and attend contractor performance review and coordination meetings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 8 years of field construction management experience within the power generation industry.
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in solar generation facilities.
Extensive, relative, and successful experience in construction oversight of commercial or industrial Solar PV greenfield/brownfield projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Proficiency with MS Office and a quick learner in new software applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors daily on greenfield construction sites in inclement weather and uneven grades.
