- Conduct cost analyses and develop design criteria
- Work with vendors and clients on specifications
- Mentor less experienced staff and interact with diverse clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD software
- 7 or more years of experience in transmission line engineering
- Knowledge of right of way requirements, conductor sags/tensions, technical plans
- Familiarity with design codes and standards
