About the role
- Provide development support, conceptual design and owner’s engineer services to clients
- Perform technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities
- Engineering design reviews, project development support, and conceptual design
- Mechanical design of thermal power projects (particular experience desired)
- Travel within the United States and internationally as required
Requirements
- This position requires a BSME from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background.
- 15 or more years of experience in the electric power industry, including experience in detailed design of the mechanical systems of thermal power projects.
- Experience in development support, conceptual design, and owner’s engineering design reviews of thermal power projects
- Excellent technical communication and writing skills are required.
- We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.
- Valued but not required: General understanding of power station operations and performance reviews.
- Valued but not required: A familiarity with international design codes and standards is preferred.
