About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform civil engineering reviews and analyses
Assist with civil engineering reviews, including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork
Support preparation and review of site layout, grading, and preliminary drainage designs
Prepare and review technical specifications to define construction requirements
Work with senior consultants to advise power project developers
Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing
Develop technical reports for applicable audiences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
4+ years of experience in design techniques, tools, and principles
2+ years of experience in detailed design of site grading and drainage, storm sewer systems, road design
Power plant (combined cycle, simple cycle, nuclear, wind, solar) project design experience
Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Civil Engineering specifications or calculations
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to prioritize multiple parallel, fast-paced tasks within schedule and assigned budget
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with civil engineering software programs such as Civil 3D, StormCad, PondPack, and Mircrostation or AutoCad
