About the role
- Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders in accordance with accepted project management standards in the aerospace industry.
- Develops and executes project and process plans and sets project targets.
- Ensures that all project control systems within the scope of the project are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
- Prepare, identify and present outcomes, assessments, corrective action, initiatives and lessons learned.
- Leads cross-functional projects in support of the entire lifecycle of the airplane in support of the Engineering Team.
- Works to improve project management processes and business systems that support project decision makers.
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
- Create, manage and status report Microsoft Project schedules (MPP) and provide status.
- Position is based at Boeing, Everett location.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Project Management position.
- Certifications and experience in tools like – PMP, JIRA, MPP are desired.
- Creating, managing and status reporting a Microsoft project schedule (Using MPP) and providing status.
- Leads cross-functional projects in support of the entire lifecycle of the airplane.
- Experience working with Engineering teams and project control systems.
