About the role
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and build automation
- Design, implement, and maintain automated build systems for embedded software projects
- Manage source control systems (Git, SVN) and branching strategies for multi-team development
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and system integrators to streamline software delivery
- Ensure traceability and reproducibility of software builds in compliance with aerospace standards
- Support integration and deployment of software on embedded hardware platforms
- Monitor build performance and troubleshoot build failures across multiple environments
- Maintain documentation for build processes, tools, and configuration management
Requirements
- Experience with CI/CD and build automation
- Proficiency with Jenkins
- Experience with source control systems: Git and Subversion (SVN)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build systems for embedded software
- Knowledge of branching strategies for multi-team development
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with embedded hardware integration and deployment
- Ability to ensure traceability and reproducibility of software builds in compliance with aerospace standards
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot build failures across multiple environments
- Strong documentation skills for build processes and configuration management
- Collaboration experience with software developers, QA engineers, and system integrators
- Aerospace domain experience preferred (not mandatory)
