About the role
- Management and maintenance of the SAP system landscape
- Planning and coordination of SAP software updates and upgrades
- Monitoring system performance and implementing performance-tuning measures
- Implementing and managing security policies and protocols
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues and system incidents
- Monitoring backup and recovery processes
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Close collaboration with other IT departments and business units
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (minimum 5 years) in SAP Basis administration
- Solid knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad, and newer SAP technologies in the SAP HANA environment
- Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and SAP HANA databases
- Knowledge of user and authorization management desirable
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, teamwork, and a structured working style
- Good German language skills, written and spoken
