About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build or translate UI designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of our applications.
- Work with backend developers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
- Take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works.
- Understand how best to present the scientific data available.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technology-related field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in similar roles, with hands-on experience in designing and developing full stack web applications.
- Proven knowledge and experience in React JS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SCSS, Git/Gitflow, and Unit Testing.
- A good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- An interest to learn about genetics and become part of a growing new industry (prior knowledge is not required, we will provide all the training needed).
- Prior knowledge or experience with Webpack will be considered a plus.
