About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build or translate UI designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of our applications.
Work with backend developers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
Take an active role on both sides and define how the application looks as well as how it works.
Understand how best to present the scientific data available.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technology-related field.
4+ years of professional experience in similar roles, with hands-on experience in designing and developing full stack web applications.
Proven knowledge and experience in React JS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS/SCSS, Git/Gitflow, and Unit Testing.
A good understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
An interest to learn about genetics and become part of a growing new industry (prior knowledge is not required, we will provide all the training needed).
Prior knowledge or experience with Webpack will be considered a plus.
