About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop assigned key Industrial OEMs, supporting the growth and meeting/exceed the revenue and profit targets for the IEC Low Voltage Motor Business in your area
  • Help to build and implement a comprehensive growth plan to demonstrate existing business relationships and new partnerships
  • Work with various teams to define requirements for product development with customers
  • Perform market research and industry trends to identify new business, fields/opportunities, and customer’s needs and establish strategies and growth programs
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry, analyze changing markets and competitive landscape, collaborate with portfolio management teams to plan and implement strategies to meet future market needs
  • Support new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating project proposals; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers
  • Provide technical training support to customers
  • Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty
  • Attend and present at conferences, meetings, and industry events

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or Mechatronics preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field of electric motor products
  • Goal-oriented, organized teammate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and writing
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time efficiently
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, ability to thrive with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
  • Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) & CRM tools
  • 75% ability to travel to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions
