About the role
- Control access of visitors, staff and students to the school's facilities efficiently and securely.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, contacting emergency services when necessary.
- Keep detailed records of visitors, entries and exits, and incidents occurring during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with the school's safety rules and inform visitors about internal regulations.
- Conduct security inspections of entry and exit areas as well as common areas when requested.
- Assist students, staff and visitors by providing support and guidance whenever necessary.
- Maintain a professional, discreet and courteous demeanor, promoting a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, surveillance, or similar roles, preferably in a school or institutional environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff and visitors.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify and respond quickly to safety and security risks.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations, demonstrating sound and decisive judgment.
- Regular attendance and punctuality, as well as a responsible attitude toward maintaining a safe environment.
