About the role

  • responsible for a broad set of financial accounting and reporting processes concerning the Group’s legal entities
  • incl. month-end closing, reconciliations, and statutory accounts
  • performing internal controls
  • driving and actively participating in improvement projects or process
  • challenging the status quo, especially in connection with month-end and reporting systems
  • leading and participating in data cleansing, reconciliations, and ad-hoc financial tasks as required by the business
  • supporting the global Financial Accounting (FAC) team by taking into high-impact assignments, including covering for key deliverables during transitions or peak periods
  • collaborating closely with colleagues and stakeholders within and outside the FAC department to deliver standardized, high-quality, and timely accounting and reporting products
  • contributing to knowledge retention by leveraging your expertise to efficiently resolve complex issues or previously unresolved matters.

Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in accounting, controlling, or similar (ACA-qualified)
  • fluent in written and spoken English
  • proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • experience using financial accounting ERPs such as SAP and Hyperion; knowledge of reporting tools like Once Source and Cadency is a plus
  • extensive relevant experience working in a public accounting firm or a finance department in an international company, including thorough knowledge of IFRS and/or a country-specific GAAP
  • demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and the ability to identify and drive improvement projects
  • demonstrate analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and the ability to critically assess information
  • able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and supporting European hours.
