About the role
- Lead the procurement of transportation and customs services
- Manage contracts and projects and drive strategic improvements
- Collaborate across multiple regions and markets
- Oversee transportation and customs contracts, supplier engagement, dispute resolution, and performance management
- Record savings, perform spend analysis and demonstrate commercial value to the business
- Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
- Coordinate complex logistics operations and projects.
Requirements
- Experience in transportation, logistics, customs, or freight procurement
- Strong technical understanding of global logistics, shipping, customs regulations, incoterms, and basic freight markets
- Proficient with procurement processes, guidelines, and technical language
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; certifications such as CIPS, CILT, or FIATA are a plus but not essential
- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
