About the role
- Responsible for metocean assessments for offshore wind farms
- Execute and coordinate project deliverables towards various stakeholders
- Collaborate with design and loads engineers
- Scope and procure metocean data from external partners
- Analyze site-specific metocean parameters for load calculations, installation works, cable installation analysis
- Develop new tools and methodologies
Requirements
- Education that supports a broad and detailed understanding of the Metocean discipline
- Curiosity and quick learning from technical and commercial experts regarding statistical analysis and extreme value analysis
- Outgoing nature and enjoyment of navigating and cooperating in a complex matrix organisation
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Thorough understanding and great experience in metocean conditions, hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, stochastic processes, and statistics
- Result-oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and ability to convert customer needs into manageable tasks
