About the role

  • Lead the execution of the product launch strategy, contributing to Santen’s ambition to become the EMEA leader in myopia treatment
  • Co-develop and implement the EMEA strategic brand plan, ensuring alignment with cross-functional partners and country-level priorities
  • Drive the preparation and rollout of brand campaigns, ensuring alignment with medico-regulatory requirements and commercial goals
  • Manage competitive intelligence efforts to proactively respond to market dynamics and competitor actions
  • Chair regular cross-functional brand meetings to align and accelerate brand performance across sales, marketing, medical, and market access
  • Support affiliate teams with tailored marketing materials, insights, and best practices to maximize local market impact
  • Plan and execute key congresses and external events, ensuring high visibility and engagement for the product and the Santen brand
  • Define and monitor performance KPIs across tactics, ensuring data-driven adjustments to optimize effectiveness and ROI
  • Lead collaboration with agencies for campaign development, creative execution, and logistics, raising the bar for external impact and innovation

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3–5 years) in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing at a regional or global level, ideally with launch experience
  • University degree or equivalent in science and/or business / Marketing or MBA qualification/s
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute brand plans, including cross-functional leadership and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret commercial data, assess trends, and translate insights into action
  • Deep understanding of customer and market insights, with a passion for addressing unmet patient and healthcare professional needs
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging diverse internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing external vendors and agencies (creative, medical communications), including briefing and performance evaluation
  • High level of creativity, resourcefulness, and a solution-oriented mindset to drive differentiation in a competitive landscape
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA (up to 30%)
