About the role
- Participates in the Financial Analysis Rotational Program (FAR) by completing three 8-month rotational assignments.
- Analyzes business results and identifies key performance insights to share with management.
- Performs analyses on financial metrics against budget and prior year's results.
- Evaluates control systems to develop effective financial controls testing and reporting.
- Presents key insights and findings to finance and business leadership.
- Develops, analyzes, and presents financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Supports the development of the annual budget, strategic planning, and monthly forecasting for business lines.
- Liaises with internal finance departments to ensure organizational alignment.
- Conducts ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Accounting, Statistics or equivalent degree. - Required.
- Internship experience in Corporate Finance/FP&A, Treasury, Consulting, or Investment Banking - Preferred.
- Banking or Financial Services - Preferred.
- Broad knowledge of finance practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to research, organize and analyze financial data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and projects according to departmental priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) skills.
